We had Matthew and Jeffrey Postlethwaite, Anto Sharp and Alex Hobern. Also in the episode, we played out Jahannah’s interview with Viola Davis when they met to speak about new film ‘Fences’.
This week Jahannah was joined by Amber Doig-Thorne! We played out the interviews of when Jahannah met the director of xXx: Return of Xander Cage D.j Caruso, and the star of the motion picture Ruby Rose. Live in the studio we had Peter Stone who talked about his play The Doppel Gang, and Lucy Patterson was back with her honest film reviews.
Jahannah was joined by TeeJ for her first show of the year. Joining them was Jim Bradshaw, the head of BAFTA, to discuss this year's nominations. James Hyland and Michael Shon dropped by to talk about their new play, A Lesson From Auschwitz. Jahannah also caught up with Nina Debrov, the star of the new xXx movie. Comedy content creator, Amber Doig-Thorne swung by for a chat and lastly, Lucy Patterson was here to do this week's film reviews.
George Amponsah and Dionee Walker were in the studio to talk about their new film The Hard Stop. Joining Jahannah on the phone was Billy O'Brien, the writer of I Am Not A Serial Killer. Maude Hirst, the star of hit TV show The Vikings, also popped in to the studio for a chat. Next up was Camille Gatin, the producer of the film The Girl With All The Gifts. The Wall of Comedy boys dropped to discuss their upcoming film The Weekend Movie. Kent Jones also talked to TeeJ about his no1 hit. Jahannah then caught up with the members of Pussy Riot who were in the UK performing Burning Doors at the Soho Theatre. On the phone was Fresh Meat, Siblings and Call the Midwife’s Charlotte Richie, who spoke of her new ‘adult panto’. Plus Anna Bogutskaya and Gabriella Apicella from Underwire Festival rang up to talk about the amazing effort they put into empowering women.
